Lucas James was born in Edina, MN and grew up and went to school in Wadena, MN and is the oldest of five kids in
my family. Lucas went to college at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN. I started a dance company while attending
college and taught hip-hop choreography to students for three years.
Lucas James moved to Phoenix, AZ after college and worked for the WNBA-Phoenix Mercury and NBA-Phoenix Suns.
After James’s stint working for two pro basketball teams he got into real estate and worked as a Business
Development Manager for two title companies. Currently, Lucas James the Director of Business Development &
Marketing for Loomis Enterprises (www.LoomisEnterprises.com) which is a custom home builder, architecture and
interior design firm, and mortgage company.
Besides working in real estate Lucas James does modeling and acting on the side. Lucas James hosted an
entertainment news show on CBS called Arizona Entertainment Weekly for a season. James is also a body double for
Phoenix Suns player Steve Nash. Lucas doubled for his Nash Nike BB basketball shoes national print ad campaign
and the NBA "Navigation" commercial. Lucas James has done print and commercial work for Nike, NBA, Seattle
Mariners, Phoenix Suns, CBS, Ebay, Message Envy, Dillards, and Hilton to name a few. One of his passions in life is
his dancing, primarily hip-hop and pop'n'lock styles. Lucas James is very active in weight training, running,
diet/nutrition, basketball, boxing, bikram yoga, hiking, spinning and golf.
